Hey, today we will talk about Huawei P30 lite specifications in detail. Huawei launched it in Pakistan during March 2019 at a price point of PKR 47,000 Approx. We will give our honest opinion about different aspects of this gadget. After that, it will become much easy for you to decide whether it is suitable for you or not. Design
Huawei P30 lit design is not much different from the most Huawei phones launched recently. However, it has a beautiful and striking design, i.e. slim and light. 3D glossy glass is present at the rear side. Well, it helps to grab the phone easily, but at the same time, many people say it cheap looking! Finger-print sensor is present along with the triple camera setup.
Thin bezels are present on the sides. The corners are rounded off, though there is a bit of a chin at the bottom. The volume rockers and power button are present on the right. On the bottom, there is a new USB-C port and a single downward firing mono speaker (which is included in the cons of this gadget). Moreover, 3.5mm headphone jack is present on the bottom where you can plug in your wired headphones.
In my personal opinion, touch and feel of P30 Lite is really premium as compared to other phones in the same price bracket. I have been using P20 standard for a long time so I won’t mind saying that there wasn’t a much difference in terms of feel of the phone.

Display
The prominent display of 6.15 inches which has IPS, takes up just a little over 84% of the front and gives a resolution of 1080 x 2312 pixels. LTPS (Low-Temperature Polysilicon) and a 2.5D curved glass screen are also included in its features. The display gets a dewdrop notch on the top.
We had great experience regarding watching content on the screen. The display is stunning with ample brightness and crisp quality. We must say Huawei has offered excellent display quality in this budget.
I mean, considering the resolution of the display, one would love watch Games of Thrones on it. Jokes apart, I have been playing different games on this phone for two weeks and i am in love with the display.

Camera
Huawei’s P30 and P30 Pro advertisements are focused on the camera. You will not find the same camera results in P30 Lite. However, the camera is the strongest point of P30 lite too!
It comes with triple camera setup on the rear.
- 24MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture that captures much information in the surroundings.
- 2MP depth sensor, for bokeh effects.
- 8MP ultra-wide camera, which assists you to cram in more scenery.
On the front, the device gets a 32MP sensor. The front camera supports AI Beautify mode as well. Our opinion is, the processing time is a little too much. Additionally, backgrounds could be blurred out by enabling bokeh through the camera app or add in depth after the photo is taken.
The camera app is full of features and not less than Huawei’s higher-priced offerings. The AI on board allows the camera to recognize scenes and adjust the settings accordingly.

Performance
According to our tests, is performance too good, too corrupt or average? Well, our answer is, its performance is just average. Here, P30 Lite is showing its true budget nature. Just like other mid-range smartphones, it is powered by Kirin 710 chipset. The phone is suitable for day to day use. However, you cannot expect to play massive games on it without hiccups. You must not expect to run heavy apps on P30 lite smoothly. So, if your usage is mostly related to power-hungry apps, you should not consider this phone. It is not a good option in this regard! But Hold on! you can play PUBG on medium level graphics easily without any glitch or lag. So considering the price range, it performs better than any other phones in the same price bracket.

Battery & EMUI 9
P30 lite’s battery type is Li-Polymer, non-removable and capacity is just 3340 mAh. Well, this phone supports 18W fast charging. The phone’s battery will be enough for one day (moderate usage), including streaming videos and scrolling through social media.
However, don’t forget that it runs Android 9 out of the box with Huawei’s cleaned up EMUI 9 skin. So, you will get many features such as gesture support, performance and battery optimization that will make your life much more comfortable.
I have been using Huawei for a while and Huawei P20 standard is my preference but after using P30 Lite, I have been thinking to switch due to better battery timing on P30 Lite.

Final Thoughts
Huawei P30 Lite is suitable to hone in our opinion. Because it is offering excellent features as compared to its price. Yes, performance is not too good if you compare it with flagship phones, but you will enjoy a good camera and gaming experience at a low price. Overall, we would rate it 7.5/10.
