Overview

Huawei officially confirmed the Mate 30 Series launch date, according to which, Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will arrive on September 19. The launch event will be held in Munich, Germany. They are the next flagship smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer. However, everything about these phones are still rumors. One of these will is said to run Huawei’s new Harmony OS, although the OS is expected to be Android Pie or Android 10, we are up for a surprise, since Huawei already introduced Harmony OS as a back-up variant of Google’s platform. if the talks between the US and China don’t get settled than Huawei will definitely go for the Harmony OS. Different color options are also expected and at least the Mate 30 Pro should offer IP68 water and dust resistance. The Mate 30 is expected to be around 900 dollars and the pro version will be around 1200 dollars but they are only rumors.

Huawei Mate 30: Specifications

According to rumors, the Mate 30 will have a Full HD+ display, the size of screen is expected to be 6.7-inch. The Huawei Mate 30 is to run on the chipset, which will be the latest Kirin processor, it will be called the Kirin 990. It will have at least 128GB of storage. The whole thing will be powered by a 4200mAh battery. Last but not the least it will ship with a Triple rear Leica camera.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro: Specifications

The Mate 30 will have a Quad HD+ display, the size of the display would be 0.4-inches larger than the Mate 30. It will also have an under-display fingerprint reader. The Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro are both expected to run on the same chipset, which will be the latest Kirin processor. The storage will be 128GB and the RAM will be a bit more than the mate 30. The Pro model is likely to see camera enhancements over the standard model. Five times optical zoom has been reported for the Mate 30 Pro, along with 50x digital zoom.
