ISLAMABAD, Pakisan: Huawei ICT Academy Pakistan in collaboration with Huawei Middle East partners organized a job fair in Islamabad, a new initiative in which five Companies took part for recruitment drive focusing on Huawei ICT Academy Certified Students.

Four Channel Partners namely China Communication Services Corporation Limited, Enterprise System UAE, Redington Gulf, and CMC Pakistan interviewed over 150 candidates to provide them technical jobs in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During the event attended by students from various Universities, 14 candidates were given jobs based on their live interviews. Three jobs were offered by China Communication Services Corporation Limited, three by Enterprise System UAE and three from Redington Gulf, one by CMC Pakistan, and four by Huawei Pakistan under its ICT Talent Trainee program.

Among the selected candidates by Redington Gulf and Enterprise systems UAE were Shamim Iqbal, Zohaib Anwar, Muhammad Noor Malik and Ayyaz Ahmed who stood first and second in the Huawei ICT competition 2017-2018.

Huawei certified engineers were given a chance to interact with Human Resource experts of the Middle Eastern partner organizations.

Huawei ICT Academy is a global program that provides opportunities for students of Information and Communication Technology to recognize their IT skills by providing them platform to compete at national and international level.

In his address, the HR Director Huawei Technologies Company Limited said, “Huawei ICT Academy is committed in supporting the development of local ICT talent in Pakistan and has invested in a number of initiatives in order to progress this development. At present, more than 80,000 engineers have passed Huawei certification, of which more than 5,000 have passed the highest level of Huawei Internet Expert Certification (HCIE).”

The respected Chief Guest Deputy CEO Huawei Technologies on the occasion congratulated the selected candidates and said “With the rapid development of Huawei's business in Pakistan and UAE there is need of a large number of engineers who understand Huawei technology to boost business development and improve customer satisfaction. The ICT industry chain led by Huawei Technology is undoubtedly an ideal choice for the youth.

And you are the future!” Huawei ICT Academy hosted this job fair for three main purposes: to motivate our ICT Academy students, to build an eco-system where talent is appreciated, to make candidates realize their potential and competitiveness.
