KARACHI: Taliban apparently win over political forces in Karachi as ANP and PPP decide in Karachi to stop their election campaign after repeated attacks on their public rallies and offices by Taliban who categorically announced last week that they will not allow liberal parties of Pakistan including MQM, ANP and PPP to hold election campaigns.

Latif Mughal who is Information Secretary of PPP Karachi chapter confirmed on Sunday that the PPP has cancelled all rallies, gatherings, and meetings in Karachi and Awami National Party (ANP) has also issued similar instructions to the party candidates to restrict polling activities. Bashir Jan, General Secretary of ANP Sindh directed  his party candidates to run their polling campaigns inside the walls.
