Suspected militants kill four policemen in Balochistan's Naseerabad district

QUETTA: Four policemen were killed when suspected militants riding motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on a patrolling police van in Chahtar area of Balochistan’s Naseerabad district on Thursday evening, media citing an unnamed police official reported.

The police official said that the militants sped away on their motorcycles after the attack, adding that a search operation was launched against the assailants.

The dead bodies were shifted to civil hospital Dera Murad Jamali.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. However, the police sources suspected the involvement of Baloch Republican Army in the attack.
