KUNDUZ: A suicide bomber killed the governor of the Archi district, his bodyguard and 10 civilians at a mosque in Afghanistan’s northern province of Kunduz on Friday, government officials said. The blast also wounded 20 other persons.
The officials said that the suicide bomber detonated his explosive when the group was attending a prayer ceremony in a mosque for a tribal elder who had died the day before.
