NAPIER, New Zealand: Pakistan needs to lift up its performance for the second game on Thursday if it has to keep the bilateral series against New Zealand alive after losing the first one day international (ODI).

The recent performance of Pakistani bowlers has not been upto the mark which was once hallmark of Pakistani Cricket. It was again witnessed on January 25 when New Zealand managed to score 280 runs in stipulated 50 overs despite losing 6 wickets for only 99.PTV Sports, Ten Sports Live Pakistan vs New Zealand 2nd ODI Cricket Streaming

In reply, Pakistan was all out for 210 in 46 overs. Babar Azam scored 62 runs before he got out by Corey Anderson. Other players except Muhammad Hafeez and Sarfraz Ahmed to some extent, did not look convincing at all.

It is likely that Shoaib Malik will replace Sohaib Maqsood in the second ODI. The experienced batsman was left out of first ODI squad due to injury.
