With another brilliant performance of Shadab Khan with the bowl, Pakistan thrashed West Indies in second T20 of four-match series on Thursday at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad.
While batting first, Pakistan managed to score 132 runs in 20 overs. The experienced Shoaib Malik scored the highest runs 28 followed by Babar Azam’s 27 and Wahab Riaz’s 24.
For West Indies, Sunil Narine and Captain Carlos Brathwaite took 3 wickets each.
In reply, the T20 World Champion West Indies could score 129 runs for 8 in stipulated 20 overs despite 50-run partnership for the second wicket which also included Marlon Samuels’ 44 runs.
The first-match hero Shadab Khan once again prevailed and took 4 wickets off just 14 runs in his 4 overs. He earned second consecutive man of the match award.
Earlier in the first T20 game at Kensington Oval in Barbados on March 26, Pakistan thrashed West Indies by six wickets as the Visitors while batting second reached an easy target of 112 runs in 17.1 overs for the loss of four wickets.
The debutant Shadab Khan won the man of the match award. His bowling figure 4-0-7-3 was the most economical four-over spell by a debutant in T20 Internationals history.
It was Sarfraz Ahmed’s fifth consecutive T20 victory after he was named as Pakistan’s T20 Captain in April 2016.

The next two T20s between Pakistan and West Indies will also be played in the same venue followed by three One Day Internationals (ODIs) in Guyana and three Test Matches.
