Australia defeated Pakistan in last One Day International (ODI) at Adelaide Oval on Thursday by 57 runs, clinching the five-matches series 4-1.

While batting first, Australian batsmen David Warner and Travis Head gave a 284 Opening Stand, both securing centuries with 179 and 128 runs respectively. Later Australia ended the innings in stipulated 50 overs on 269 for 7.
Junaid Khan and Hasan Ali bagged 2 wickets each while one each wicket was taken by Muhammad Amir and Wahab Riaz.
In reply, Pakistan was bowled out on 312 runs, falling short of 57.
From Pakistan, Babar Azam made 100 runs while Sharjeel Khan scored 79. Shoaib Malik was forced to get retired hurt after a ball hit his left wrist.
Babar in prev series equaled Z Abbas’ record of 3 consecutive 100s. Now he becomes just 2nd Pak batsman after him to score 100 v Aus in Aus.

Mitchell Starc took 4 wickets followed by Pat Cummins with 2 for Australia.
David Warner was declared the Player of the Match as well as the Player of the Series.
Pakistan had made one change in its playing squad for today’s ODI as Wahab Riaz returned to the Side for Imad Wasim.
Earlier, Pakistan was whitewashed in three-match Test series against Australia and now ODI series also ended in huge disappointment for tourists.
