SYDNEY: South Africa and West Indies will face to each other on Friday in a Pool B match of the ICC Cricket World Cup at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

It will be 19th match of the mega event, scheduled to begin at 8:30 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Earlier, Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 92 runs in the ICC Cricket World Cup Pool A match played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday.

Sri Lanka while batting first made 332 runs for one wicket in the allotted 50 overs. In reply, Bangladesh were all out at 240 in 47 overs.

In another match played at University Oval in Dunedin, Afghanistan defeated Scotland by one wicket.

Scotland scored 210 runs which was successfully chased down by Afghanistan for nine wickets in 49.3 overs.
