MELBOURNE: India will face Bangladesh in the 2nd quarter-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday.

Pakistan Television (PTV) Sports will telecast the match live from 08:30 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST).

Currently, the ninth-ranked Bangladesh are playing their ever first knockout match in an ICC-organized cricket mega event.

On the other hand, India are playing their 10th under MS Dhoni’s captaincy. MS Dhoni, with eight wins from nine matches (Champions Trophy, World T20 and World Cup) is level with Australian Ricky Ponting whose eight wins have come from 11 games.

Earlier in the first quarter-final played at Sydney on Wednesday, South Africa beat Sri Lanka by nine wickets and qualified for the semi-final.

While batting first Sri Lanka were all out for 133 runs in 37.2 overs and South Africa achieved the target in 18 over for the loss of just one wicket.

Imran Tahir of South Africa was declared man of the match who got four wickets while Quinton de Kock remained main scorer with 78 runs.
