ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Press Club (NPC) is bracing itself to organize the second annual Inter-media Hardball Cricket Tournament next month.

The “National Press Club Cricket Championship 2018” will be organized in October 2018, for which aspirants teams have been asked to register their entries by September 30.

As per a notification issued on August 1 by the Chairman NPC Sports Committee Nasir Abbas Naqvi, each department’s team will consist of 15 players, and only Council Members of NPC will be eligible to become part of a participating team.

The entry fee worth Rs 1000 can be submitted in Islamabad and Rawalpindi Offices besides with the Chairman NPC Sport Committee.

It is worth mentioning here that NPC Blues is the Defending Champions in the event to be held in various grounds of the Federal Capital as it defeated Dawn News by 61 runs in the final of the NPC Cricket Championship 2017 held at Islamabad’s Shalimar Cricket Ground on October 26 last year.
