Finally the experienced Mohammad Hafeez has been included in an 18-member Pakistan Squad for upcoming Australia Series in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

While batting for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) in his first innings of the match held from September 25-27, Mohammad Hafeez scored 213 runs against Peshawar. He also picked up four wickets in the match which eventually led his side to clinch a comfortable win against Peshawar with an innings and 105 runs.

“The National Selection Committee and Team Management has decided to include Mohammad Hafeez for a two-match Test series against Australia. Mohammad Hafeez will travel to Dubai on the first available flight,” said a press release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday.

With 39.22 average, Hafeez has scored 3452 Test runs in 50 matches with nine hundreds and 12 fifties.
