SportsPSLAB de Villiers among Overseas Players reaches Dubai for HBL PSL 2019

Overseas Players including AB de Villiers have reached Dubai to participate in the HBL PSL 2019, the fourth edition of a franchise Twenty20 cricket league organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) annually.

The latest entrants also include West Indian Dwayne Smith, South African Rilee Rossouw, Colin Ingram & Hardus Viljoen, and Australian Fawad Ahmed besides AB de Villiers.

The first match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019 Edition will be held at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday (February 14) between Defending Champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars following a glittering opening ceremony.

However just before their inaugural match in HBL PSL 2019, Quetta Gladiators dealt a blow after West Indian all-rounder Sunil Narine suffered a finger injury. His participation in the tournament will be determined after seeking a medical advice. Therefore, as his replacement, leg-spinner Max Waller has been added to the squad.

In PSL 2018, Islamabad United turned out to be the most successful team which eventually also led them to the title. But in vice versa, Lahore Qalandars looked below the par for the third consecutive year with only three wins in 2018.

But since South African Star AB de Villiers has also now joined Lahore Qalandars under a new Captain Mohammad Hafeez, the franchise is expected to take all by storm this year.
