ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Speaker National Assembly Raja Parvez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani have expressed their deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives and property caused by the terrible earthquake in Turkey, Syria and Lebanon.

While expressing condolences to the governments and people of Turkey, Syria and Lebanon for the loss of precious lives, both in their separate messages said that the Parliament and people of Pakistan stand by the governments and people of Turkey, Syria and Lebanon in this hour of grief.

   

They also assured of Pakistan’s all out support in the relief and rehabilitation activities.

The speaker and the deputy speaker also prayed to Allah Almighty to raise the ranks of the martyrs and give the bereaved families courage to bear this irreparable loss.

They also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the earthquake.
