RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has condemned the terrorists’ attack on US troops in Southern Kandahar Province of Afghanistan.
Two US Soldiers were killed when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into a NATO Convoy in Kandahar on Wednesday.
While condemning the terrorists’ attack on the United States forces in Kandahar, the COAS offered heartfelt condolences on the death of two Special Forces soldiers who died in the incident.
The COAS said that we fully understand the loss and pain of victims’ families as Pakistan is undergoing a similar trial of blood in fight against common threat of terrorism.
The Army Chief also wished an early recovery of injured in the incident.
Earlier, the British High Commissioner Thomas Drew met the COAS at the army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi, and discussed matters of mutual interest and regional security.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region.
