NATO convoy attacked in Kabul, four civilians killed

KABUL, Afghanistan: A convoy carrying supplies for the US-led NATO forces in Afghanistan was attacked in Kabul on Sunday that left at least four civilian killed and seven others injured.

The interior ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said that a suicide bomber targeted the convoy in police district 6 in Kabul.

Several vehicles were damaged as well as windows of nearby shops and buildings were shattered due to the blast, witnesses said.

A spokesman for the Taliban militant group said the group claims responsibility for the attack.
