Underlining Bangladesh as a friendly nation, he said that Türkiye would celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Bangladesh in February 2024.

“The Republic of Türkiye and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh have strong and deep-rooted relations. We are committed to further enhancing and diversifying our bilateral relations in all fields,” Şen added.

The Minister of Justice and Parliamentary Affairs of Bangladesh Anisul Huq said that the relationship between Bangladesh and Turkiye in terms of bilateral trade and culture has been significantly bolstered during the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Referring to the huge popularity of Turkish mega serials in Bangladesh, the minister said that the connectivity between the people of the two nations is being strengthened through those series. Bangladeshi people like the historic Turkish mega serials like Dirilis Ertugrul and Kurulus Osman.
