10 including Russian woman killed as two buses collide in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Nepal: At least 10 persons including a Russian woman were killed and nine others were injured in a collision between two buses in Nepal’s Makwanpur district on Saturday morning.

A local police official Prakash Jung Karki said that the accident took place along a national highway in Makwanpur district, 33 kilometres (20 miles) south of Kathmandu.

The police official said that the injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
