ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The international award-winning photographer Muhammad Azhar Hafeez showcased his photographic masterpieces at Nukta Studios in Islamabad on Saturday, offering an opportunity for visitors to see some of stunning views from around the globe.

It’s the 8th Solo Exhibition of Photography by Muhammad Azhar Hafeez, which kicked off at 5:30 pm today and will continue till two weeks, with the title “INSIGHT”.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Azhar Hafeez’s daughter Abeerah Azhar and the curator Muhammad Sajjad Akram’s daughter Fatima Sajjad.

Over 300 photographs have been put in display, depicting landscapes, portraits of actual people, wildlife, architecture and documentaries.

The frames were also priced from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 each.

The visitors eulogized Azhar Hafeez for his creative skills, and hoped to see more of his spectacular work in photography in the future.

The 48-year-old Muhammad Azhar Hafeez, who is also a designer, teacher & director, is well-acclaimed in the photographical world.

Azhar Hafeez also travelled across the world including in Africa to capture the natural beauty in his camera.

For his exceptional and amazing work, he also earned numerous awards including the one from the Tokyo-based Nikon Corporation.

The former Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani and the incumbent Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri also honoured him with awards.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
