SocialSindh govt decides to ban carrying arms openly

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Wednesday decided to cancel all permits and impose a ban on carrying arms in public in the province.

A summary was sent by the Sindh Home Department in this regard to Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, sources said.

The home department suggested in the summary to cancel all prior issued special permits for carrying arms as well.

The sources said that it is expected that a ban will be imposed on carrying firearms in the province very soon, after approval of Sindh Chief Minister.
