RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: A Seminar will be held with the title ‘general elections 2018 and protection of minorities’ rights’ in Rawalpindi on June 28 (Thursday).

Peter Jacob and Zaigham Khan will be the Speakers at the Seminar to be held at Grace Crown Hotel in Committee Chowk, Rawalpindi.

The organizers of the Seminar include Minority Councilor Samuel Bashir, Basharat Masih, Professor Areem Zia, Azeem Rafiqui, Nadeem Bashir, Asif Jorge, Christen Study Centre, and Centre for Social Justice.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has already released the list of validly nominated Candidates for Reserved Seats for Minorities in the National Assembly ahead of general elections 2018.

As per the ECP, the valid Candidates for Reserved Seats for Minorities from across the Country include Shunila Ruth, Tasleem Gulshan, Sanjay Perwani, Rameez Samson Ajaz, Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, Akram Waqar Gill, Nelson Azeem, Sham Sunder, Ramesh Lal, Peter Jan Bheel, Hanif Lal, Asiya Nasir, James Masih, lmran Ifique, Mohan Manjiani, George Clement, Tariq Masih, Naveed Aamir, Nasar Anjum, Albert Patras, Isphan yar Bhandara, Suleman Latif, Darshan, Araish Kumar, Patrick Saint Masih, Rakesh Kumar, Mangla Sharma, Falak Shar Masih, Aslam Perviz Masih, Lal Chard, Asif Bhatti, Naresh Kumar, Kesoo Mal Kheeal Das, Choudary Salamat Shan, Hina, James lqbal, Pervez Masih, Jamshed Thomas, Jai Parkash, William Masih, Mool Chand, Haresh Kumar, and Baithazar Sameul John.
