SocialSecurity at media houses, educational institutes beefed up

LAHORE, Pakistan: DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf on Monday said that security has been beefed up at educational institutes and media houses in the wake of current situation in the country.

He said that special security plan has also been devise in this regard, adding all SPs have been directed to conduct visits to all educational institutes and media houses on daily basis besides conducting search operations in nights.

During his visit to various educational institutes and media houses here on Monday, he assured that security was being provided to all institutes.

The DIG visited educational institutes including Kinnaird, Queen Marry College, Aitchison, Lahore Grammer School and other educational institutes in city and also inspected police patrolling vehicles.

He also distributed cash rewards and commendatory certificates among the policemen who showed outstanding performance during duty.
