SocialRawalpindi Arts Council organizes 'Mhefil-e-Musaalma'

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan:  In connection with sacred month of Muharam-ul-Haram, Rawalpindi Arts Council arranged a ‘Mhefil-e-Musaalma’ in collaboration with literary society Sukhanwar to pay rich tribute to sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his family.

Famous poet Haleem Qureshi presided over the Mhefil and Manzar Naqvi was chief guest on the occasion. While Anjum Khaliq was guest of honor accompanied by Naheed Manzoor and Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed.

The poets Aftab Zia, Gul-e-Nazik, Jia Qureshi, Farid Zahid, Farhana Ali, Ahmed Zahoor, Ali Asghar Samar, Hamid Shah Bukhari, Saeed Anwar, Nazia Shakoor Naz, Hafeez Raja, Prof Kaleem Ehsan Butt, Rasheed Amin, Zia uddin Naeem, Abdul Qadir Taaban, Rana Saeed Doshi, Sharf uddin Shami, Mian Tanvir Qadri, Naseem-e-Saher, Manzar Naqi, Anjum Khaliq and Haleem Qureshi presented poetry related to Karbala incident and paid tribute to sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain and his family.

Naheed Manzoor addressing at the occasion said that all the Muslim must understand the philosophy of sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and solution of all problems lie in the teachings of Imam Hussain (RA).
