KARACHI/LAHORE: Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) on Monday forecast monsoon rain and thundershower in parts of Sindh, Balochistan, upper Punjab and northwestern areas during the next 24 hours.

The PMD said isolated rain and thundershower is expected in Quetta‚ Zhob‚ Kalat‚ Sibi‚ Larkana‚ Rawalpindi‚ Gujranwala‚ Lahore‚ Hazara division and Kashmir during the next 12 hours.

It said a low-pressure weather system has entered Balochistan from Sindh which is likely to cause widespread rain-thundershowers in the province.
