KARACHI, Pakistan: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) celebrated International Women’s Day under the theme ‘Better the balance, Better the world’ by organizing a special event to recognize and appreciate the achievements and success of their female workforce at its Regional Office in Multan.

The Chief Guest at the event was Shagufta Hussain, Pro Vice Chancellor, Women University Multan. Other distinguished guests and speakers included Bushra Akram, Senior Clinical Psychologist, Multan, Zunera Azfar, Superintendent, Punjab Police, Multan Cantt, Namreen Munir, DSP, Punjab Highway Patrolling Police, Multan and Rizwana Tabassum Durrani, Senior Producer, PCB, Multan.

The speakers shared their professional experiences and learnings, which proved to be motivating and heartening for the female participants.

On the occasion, Muhammad Ajmal Khan, RGM, PTCL, Multan, said, “At PTCL, we strongly believe that our female workers are playing a pivotal role in success of our organization. We value their contribution and continuously strive to provide them with ample opportunities to further excel and stand out.”

The speakers shared their professional experiences and also talked about proactively supporting female staff to ensure that they feel empowered, valued and respected at workplace.

The PTCL celebrated the International Women’s Day across Pakistan in various regional and zonal offices.
