KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari has called for coordination among intelligence agencies to protect life and property of the people.

Chairing a high-level meeting held in Karachi to review law and order situation of Karachi particularly in Lyari, he urged law-enforcement agencies to take action against criminals without any discrimination to ensure safety of the people.

The President said the culprits should be arrested irrespective of how much they are influential. He said that life and property of the people should be protected at all cost. No negligence will be tolerated in this regard, he added.

Inspector General Sindh Police Shahid Nadeem Baloch and DG Rangers Major General Rizwan Akhter briefed the President about the prevailing law and order situation in the province particularly Karachi.
