KARACHI: The Sindh Home Department has imposed a ban on pillion riding once in Karachi on Friday to avoid any mishap during tomorrow’s planned protests of the religious parties.

According to the department, the ban will start from Thursday midnight and will end at Friday’s midnight.

The religious parties of the country have announced countrywide protests tomorrow against the incident that took place in Rawalpindi’s Raja Bazar area on Yaum-e-Ashur (Muharram10) amid ambiguous circumstances and that left many persons killed while hundreds of shops were torched by the agitators.
