PESHAWAR: At least two persons were killed and two others were injured when explosive material exploded at a warehouse in Peshawar’s Ring Road area on Tuesday.
Police said that those injured in the blast that occurred inside the scrap warehouse were children.
According to initial reports, rockets and mortar shells were present in the warehouse.
Asad Haroon, Assistant Commissioner, said the warehouse was owned by an Afghan refugee named Shahid and an operation was launched to apprehend the man.
The bodies and injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital.
