ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A day-long “Farmers” Conference is being held in Quetta on Thursday (March 31) in a bid to inform the farmers of the province about the use of latest agricultural technologies.
The moot is being organized by Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) in collaboration with Livestock and Dairy Development Department-Government of Balochistan, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the UN and other National and International Development Partners (USAID, ILRI, CIMMYT and Australian AID).
Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Chief Minister Balochistan and Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan, Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research (MNFS&R) are likely to attend the conference, said a statement here on Tuesday.
