MULTAN, Pakistan: The work on four walls, admin block, foundation cafeteria is progressing at a brisk pace, said Chief Engineer and Technical Advisor of Metro Bus Project Sabir Khan Sadozai.

Reviewing work on bus depot here on Saturday, he said that workers were working in two shifts for the completion of work.

The Chief Engineer said that designs of all sections to be constructed in bus depot had been prepared.

He said that concrete plant, rollers, graders and machinery were being used to expedite the development works.

He said a modern central laboratory had been established to monitor inch-by-inch progress of the project.

He said the development projects at cafeteria, staff hostel, admin block, parking area, service station, workshop and roads were under construction in accordance with the design.

He said the construction of 240 square meter water tank for fire-fighting and service stations was in last stage of construction.

He said the construction of corridors to link road for metro bus was also underway.

Director Engineering Shahid Najam, Engineer Qaiser Abbas, Planning Engineer Naveed Bhatti, Xen Javed Iqbal and SDO Rana Waseem were present on the occasion.
