SIALKOT: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said the government is making hectic efforts to overcome energy crisis.

Speaking at an Iftar party in Sialkot‚ he said a number of steps have already been taken to address the problem.

He said the duration of load shedding have been reduced and efforts are being made for providing electricity during Iftar‚ Sehr and Traveeh to facilitate the faithfuls.

The Minister warned that theft of electricity would not be tolerated and people indulged in this practice would be dealt with iron hands
