HYDERABAD: Four minor girls, two of them siblings, were electrocuted after live wires fell on them in stagnant rainwater in a locality of Hyderabad.

Reports said the children were playing rainwater when they received a severe electric shock after a live wire fell on them. They died on the spot.

Area people rushed the girls to civil hospital where they were pronounced death on arrival.

Hyderabad received heavy downpour on Saturday and Sunday which inundated low-lying areas.
