Fee reimbursement to 3,184 Sindh students on June 3

KARACHI: As a part of the prime minister’s fee reimbursement scheme for less developed areas, a ceremony of repayment of education fee to 3,184 students of Masters, M. Phil and PhD of seven universities of Sindh will be held at University of Sindh Jamshoro on June 3.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be the chief guest.

The scheme is focused on enhancing opportunities for access to higher education particularly to talented but financially constrained students belonging to remote and far flung areas of the country.

The beneficiaries included 2,028 from Sindh University, 553 from Mehran University, 40 from Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro, 12 from Karachi University, five from NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi, three from Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi and 543 scholars of Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam.
