ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has taken initiative to ensure beauty of major avenues, busy intersections, green belts with colourful, blooming flower arrangements and fascinating landscaping in Federal Capital.
Special arrangements had also been made for the protection and maintenance of these floral beds and other arrangements.
On the special directions of Chairman CDA, Maroof Afzal, Environment Wing of the Authority is busy in beautifying the green belts along the major avenues, median strips and entry points of the city with colourful flower beds and state-of-the-art landscape.
In order to boost the beauty of the city, the concept of flower towers has also been adopted.
The lush vertical display of flower towers will not only help in enhancing the beauty of the city but are easy and handy to maintain and major source of attraction.
The Flower Tower has an internal watering system which converts minimum water to maximum growth.
Similarly, seasonal flowers and evergreen plants are also being planted along the major avenues across the city.
