GUJRANWALA: At least four persons including a woman and a child were killed and several others injured when four coaches of a passenger train derailed at Gujranwala railway station on Thursday, rescue sources said. The train was going to Rawalpindi from Lahore.
According to reports, several people standing along the rail track were trapped as the four coaches of the train ran off their track.
Railways authorities have started rescue operation, while six people were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital in a critical condition.
