RAIPUR: A 7-year-old girl was raped in the restroom of a running train in India’s central state of Chhattisgarh, police officials said.
The girl was lured away from her family by a 40-year-old man in a park in Raipur city and took her to a train and sexually assaulted her in the restroom sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, Railway police superintendent K.C. Agrawal said on Tuesday.
The victim, who was left at the train station on Saturday morning, admitted to a hospital for treatment.
