Social33rd Lahore International Book Fair 2019 to be held from February 1-5

LAHORE, Pakistan: The five-day Lahore International Book Fair (LIBF) 2019 is set to be held from February 1-5 at Expo Centre in Johar Town Lahore.

The Inauguration Ceremony of the 33rd edition of blockbuster event will take place at 10:00 am on Friday.

The event will be held from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm from February 1 to February 5, 2019.33rd Lahore International Book Fair 2019 to be held from February 1-5

The LIBF 2019 will be featuring various activities for children including Puppet Show, Naani Kahani, Debate Competition, Painting Competition, Magic Show, and Prize Distribution Ceremony.

The Iqbal Exhibition sponsored by Iqbal Academy will also be organized at LIBF Activity Lounge.

Besides, a number of book stalls will also be set up by Oxford University Press, Al Noor Publications, Sang-i-Meel Publications, Anjuman Taraqqi-i-Urdu, Readings, Siddiqqi Rare Antique Books, and many others. In these stalls, books will be offered at a discount up to 50 percent.

Last year, 262 stalls were set up in the book fair.

The Lahore International Book Fair is organized by a non-profit NGO LIBF Trust, which aims at to promote the cause of book publishing, book selling and book reading in the country.
