Social220 skilled youth from Balochistan to depart for Middle East

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: As many as 220 youth successfully skilled with financial support of Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) will leave for the Middle East (ME).

The youth will be presented with the jobs in the shape of employment visas for Middle East at a ceremony to be held here on January 15, with the realization and commitment to increase employment and decrease poverty in Balochistan province, said a statement issued by Taraqee Foundation here on Monday.

Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms will be chief guest of the event.

The government of Balochistan has also decided to show off through Labour and Manpower Department with the launching of the concept of “Balochistan Skill Enhancement Programme” through a presentation by Secretary Labour.

It may be mentioned here that employment through sikilled labour force has ermerged as one of the vibrant sector both overseas and within the country.

According to Chief Executive, Taraqee Foundation – Quetta, Balaochistan Amjad Rashid, Fast growing Middle East and development of Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPEC) has prompted both civil society organizations and private sector across the country to take the opportunity by horns and develop as many skilled labour forces as possible for employment.

The provincial governments too realizing the situation has started steeting their priorities with the help of the development partner to benefit from the employment market in the region and within the country.
