Social21 outlets in Islamabad fined for selling unhygienic food

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has fined 21 outlets for selling sub-standard food in various areas of the city during last week.

According to details, Food and Health Departments conducted 156 inspections of food outlets during last week and challaned 21 food outlets besides issuing notices to 18 outlets.

The teams also confiscated filthy and broken utensils and expired soft drinks during the campaign.

The food and health departments also took 19 samples of various food items and sent them for laboratory analysis.

Drug Inspector, Islamabad conducted 19 inspections of drug outlets and took samples of five drugs for analysis by the laboratory.
