Social105 stolen cars recovered in last one year, NA told

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Assembly on Wednesday was informed that as many as 621 FIRs were registered fire stolen vehicles/cars in the Capital and 105 vehicles have been recovered since July 2014 to date.

Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan in a written answer to a question asked by Sher Akbar Ali Khan, the house was told that some 130 accused persons were arrested on charges of car theft.

To another question, the House was apprised that at present 49 posts in the cadre of Khateeb, Moazin, Khadim and Muddaris were vacant in Auqaf Department, ICT.

Giving the breakup, the minister said that 22 posts of Khateeb, 21 Moazzin and 01 each Khadim and Mudarris were laying vacant.
