Sirajul Haq resigns as KPK finance minister

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Sirajul Haq has resigned as the finance minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet to give more time to his party’s activities, media citing sources reported on Wednesday.

The sources said that following the resignation of Sirajul Haq as the provincial finance minister, a JI’s lawmaker from Dir Muzaffar Syed would assume the charge of senior minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet.
