ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A significant growth has been seen in November 2020 in the exports of various sectors including textile and pharmaceutical as compared to November 2019, the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood said.

Sharing the provisional figures of exports for November 2020, the adviser told that 20 percent export growth has been witnessed in home textiles, 20 percent in pharmaceutical products, 14 percent in rice, 11 percent in surgical goods, 41 percent in stockings & socks, 21 percent in jerseys & pullovers, 11 percent in women’s garments, and 4.3 percent in men’s garments.

The adviser said that this is in line with our policy of promotion of value-added exports and reflects a healthy trend.
