Lahore, Pakistan: The Crackdown of Lahore Police against corrupt police officials continues as the SHO of Women Police Station was booked for her alleged linkages with dacoits. SHO of Women Police Station Sanya Ashraf has been booked for her alleged linkages with dacoits.
According to an FIR e-tag number Kahna-24/04/2025-8654 dated April 24. 2025 registered at Kahna Police Station Lahore, claimed that police arrested a gang of dacoits who were operating in the Model Town district police circle. Arrested accused during interrogation, claimed that the SHO of Women Police Station Sanya Ashraf was part of the gang and the stolen weapon was still in her custody. The police, with the approval of high-ups, constituted a raiding party that recovered the stolen weapon from her possession and arrested her.
This is pertinent to mention that same female SHO was allegedly involved in stripping a female victim’s of gang rape and offered a bribe to victim’s lawyer Ali Changezi Sandhu while favouring the accused of gang rape. Now she had been arrested for providing illegal weapons in a robbery and distributing the loot among the robbers in her house. It should be noted that the same SHO also threatened to take action against advocate Ali Changezi Sandhu in the gang rape case if he did not back down from supporting the victim. It may be mentioned that this gang rape took place in one of the oldest and the prestigious university of Pakistan.
