KARACHI: Shahid Afridi has attended first sports psychotherapy class to improve his performance for upcoming Champions Trophy.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has hired test cricketer and Sports Psychologist Moeem-ul-Atiq to restore confident of Shahid Afridi before the tournament.

Shahid Afridi has been included in 30 initial shortlisted players for Champions Trophy and PCB wants to see him fully capable of performing there.

Moeen-ul-Haq took first sports psychotherapy class of Shahid Afridi at National Stadium in Karachi this day and guided him for overcoming his weak points.

Shahid Afridi has gained some useful tips from the sports psychotherapist and now he seems to be ready for practicing during President One Day Cup.

The PCB has given task to Moeen-ul-Haq to remove South African tour’s pressure from Pakistan players’ senses, informed sources.
