QUETTA, Pakistan: Four persons have reportedly suffered injuries in a blast which took place near a mosque on Sariab road in Quetta.

Sources said that the explosive device was planted in a motorcycle parked in front of the Jamia Masjid Usman Bin Affan near a PSO Petrol Pump.

They said that the blast went off when the people were leaving the mosque after offering the Friday prayers.

The injured persons were shifted to the Civil Hospital for medical treatment.



Meanwhile, the security forces cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation.

The nature of the blast is yet to be determined.
