ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Water and Power on Thursday rejected the summary of Rs 5 per unit increase in the power tariff through money bill ordinance.

In the committee meeting, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) central leader, Senator Raza Rabbani, said that we do not accept any such move. He said tax ordinance would be out of the constitution.
