ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousuf said Wednesday the government was considering to open more Dini Madaris in the country for imparting religious education to students.

Speaking in the Senate during question hour in the Senate, the minister said the government had established Dini Madrasah for female students in Islamabad, contributing a good part in imparting religious education.

He said the objective of the institution, which had strength of 19 teachers and 45 students, was to affiliate other religious schools with it but administrators of those seminaries did not cooperate in this regard.

He said no province had forward such proposals to establish Model Dini Madrasah there, so far; however, the same had been discussed in certain meetings to construct such more madrasah in other parts of the country.

Meanwhile Riaz Hussain Pirzada Minster for Inter-Provincial Coordination informed the house that 10 officers were working on deputation basis in Ministry of Housing and Works and 11 in Estate Office.
