Monitoring Desk: Security forces successfully foiled several attempts of terrorism in different areas of Balochistan on Wednesday and killed eight terrorists who tried to attack buses and security checkpoints.
According to available information, terrorists unsuccessfully attempted to attack various locations in Balochistan. Security forces thwarted terrorist attacks by taking timely and effective action and killed five terrorists in an effective action in Turbat. Terrorists tried to carry out coordinated attacks at different locations in Turbat through two suicide bombers, which were immediately foiled. Three terrorists were also killed on the Coastal Highway, while two terrorists who tried to block a road in the Kuchlak area were also killed.
Terrorists also tried to stop buses on the Sibi-Quetta Road, which was foiled, and two terrorists were killed. Similarly, terrorists tried to target innocent people near Lak Pass on Quetta-Taftan Road, which was foiled by security forces, and two fleeing terrorists were killed. The security forces have foiled all the cowardly attacks of the terrorists and have started a clearance operation which will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
