RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan and killed a high-profile terrorist Wasim Zakaria, and his four accomplices.

In a statement on Monday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Security Forces also apprehended 10 important terrorists.

   

The ISPR said that terrorist Wasim Zakaria hailed from Haider Khel area of Mir Ali. He was the mastermind of 30 various terrorist acts from 2019.

The terrorist Wasim Zakaria was also involved in targeted killings in the area, the martyrdom of Officials of government agencies including the CSS Officer Zubaidullah Dawar, attacks on security forces and an attack on an army convoy near Hasso Khel.
